Irene Ziegler is a two-time fellow in the Pipeline New Works Initiative sponsored by Cadence Theatre, mentored by the multi-decorated playwright, David Lindsay-Abaire.

As an actor, her film and TV credits include The First Lady, Doom Patrol, The Walking Dead and Safe Haven among many others. Irene is the author of novels Rules of the Lake and Ashes to Water.

She is also the voice on the buses in Richmond, VA and preceded Siri as the voice of GPS-navigation and airport announcements. She was once yelled at by Anne Bancroft and made Gillian Anderson laugh.
